Kenn Klun

Kenneth A. Klun, 90, Harrodsburg, KY, husband of Roberta Pierce Klun, for 57 yr., died Tuesday January 1, 2026 at the Thomson-Hood Veterans Center in Wilmore KY. Born February 2, 1935, in Cleveland, Ohio, he was the son of the late Anthony and Josephine (Kic) Klun. Kenn served in the US Army as German language translator in West Berlin during the cold war. He later obtained an electrical engineering degree from Ohio State University and then began a long career in scientific measurement device sales.

He established and managed sales offices in Germany, England, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, Singapore and India. He had a gift for adapting to cultural differences and building effective teams.

Roberta and Kenn loved their travels and were welcoming hosts wherever they were. They enjoyed Theater, Ballet, Opera and Broadway Musicals. They were avid dog lovers and aided in many rescues. After retirement they moved from Princeton NJ to Roberta's birthplace of Harrodsburg where they were active members of the community and St. Philip's Church. Dog rescue remained a passion.

Kenn's remaining family members include William (Jill Beene) Klun, two granddaughters: Serena and Amelia Klun, and his brother James Klun.

A memorial service in Harrodsburg will be at St. Phillips Church, date and time will be announced.
