Obituary
Our beloved Kenneth Andrew Anderson, "Chill," was born and raised in Camden, SC, on November 3, 1968, to Mary A. Parker (stepfather Robert Parker) and George Lenix of Camden, SC.
Kenny graduated from Camden High School Class of 1987. He met and married his high school sweetheart, Tracey Nelson Anderson of Lugoff, SC and they were blessed with two beautiful daughters from that union.
Kenny was a jovial, strong, and creative man who loved to entertain his family. In his earlier years, Kenny enjoyed playing baseball for Camden Rangers, Lugoff Blue Jays, and Blanding Sluggers, where he played shortstop and second base. He also enjoyed watching movies, dancing, playing cards, and playing horseshoe.
He was employed at HBD Thermoid before closing down; but most recently, at Kershaw County Council on Aging. Kenny brought light to any situation with his infectious smile and laughter. He was our grill master, who threw anything on the grill despite the weather- rain, snow, sleet, or hail. Kenny brought so much joy in all those who encountered and he will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
His grandmothers, three uncles, and one aunt preceded him in death.
Kenny leaves to cherish his memories: two daughters, Shantise Byrd (Quester) of Blythewood, SC and Kenyatta Anderson of Columbia, SC; three grandchildren, Zoey, Kali, and Aria Byrd; his grandfather, David (Adie) Lenix; siblings, Kimberly Warren (Frank), Richard Hubbard Jr, Theresa, Torsha, and Michael; one nephew, Daryl Richardson; aunts, Minnie Jones of Camden, SC and Ruby Lawhorn (Melvin) of Camden, SC; uncles, George Jones (Sylvia) of Augusta, GA and Jimmy Jones of Camden, SC; god-children, Whitney Pinckney and Logan Westberry; stepsiblings, Roberta (Dexter), Destry, Vivian (Robert Jr.), and Latoya; host of cousins and friends.
As he would always say, "You gots to chill."
