I can't tell you how sad we are from losing Don. We have known Don, Lucy, Beth, Ken and Robert when we moved into a house across the street from them in early 1969 into a subdivision in west Houston. Boy did we have a good time together going to the local Honky Tonks around Houston seeing the likes of Waylon Jennings, George Jones, Mickey Gilley, Faron Young and Lucy's favorite Johnny Bush. I think Lucy liked the fiddle player when Johnny Bush sang "Whiskey River". I will never forget Don's laugh. It was classic!!! I can hear it now. He was so much fun and a giving person. We all had a hunting lease in Rio Grande, Texas. The hunting trips were something special that I will never forget. Don and Lucy attended all of our children's wedding and we attended all of their children's weddings. The entire Arthur family has always been special to our family. Even though we were far away from each other, we did manage to stay in touch. To all of the Arthur family, we love you all very much'
