Our deepest sympathy is extended to the family of Mr. Bacon. He became the voice of so many who were unable to speak and be heard.

He lived in a way that is longed by many -- to build and have occupancy; to plant and eat the fruitage. As Mr. Bacon rests until he is called from the memorial tomb, how ecstatic he will be to see that the entire earth is being transformed into a paradise (Rev 21:3-5).

Sincerely,

A Retired Military Officer

Ken Bacon was one of the first reporters I met when I reported for duty in the Pentagon in 1979. He was respected and esteemed for good reason - he was always fair, yet relentless in searching for the truth. I later was Chief of Army Public Affairs when he was the ASD for Public Affairs and continued to have the greatest admiration for Ken. May the family find comfort in God's embrace during these difficult times.

May the God of all comfort be with you during this time of loss.

The loss of a loved one hurts, but the comfort we can find only from God gives us the strength we need to carry on.
