Kenneth "Wayne" Basnett

We were so saddened to hear of Wayne´s passing. What a truly lovely, caring, and kind man he was-a gentle soul whose warmth touched everyone he met. He always had a generous heart, and I´ll never forget the countless small kindnesses he showed our family over the years.

One memory that will always make me smile is how my son looked forward to stopping at Wayne´s store for "bug juice"-it became a little tradition, a moment of joy that he unknowingly gifted us. Wayne would greet us with that familiar grin, as if he´d been expecting us all along.

His memory will forever be cherished in our family. Wayne wasn´t just someone we knew-he was someone who made a difference. And we´re so grateful for that. He will be missed.
