Kenneth D. Bennett

Mr. Kenneth D. Bennett, age 81, of Madison, Indiana, entered this life on July 31, 1941 in Vevay, Indiana. He was the loving son of the late Leland and Ada Bennett. He married Shirley Dean Jones on February 22, 1971 at Switzerland County Baptist Church. He lived in Switzerland County, Indiana for thirty years before moving to the Madison area in 1971. Kenneth first worked for Lodge Brothers Furniture for over 20 years. He then worked for Grote Industries for 14 years until he retired. He was a member of Milton Christian Church. He enjoyed fishing, going to McDonalds, and was rarely found without a wrench in his hand. Kenneth loved tinkering on cars and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was a loving dad and papaw. Kenneth died with his loving family by his side on Monday, May 15, 2023, at 9:57 p.m. at The Water's of Clifty Falls in Madison, Indiana. A LOVING FAMILY
Kenneth will be missed by his loving daughter, Stephanie Manis and her husband, Richard of Madison, Indiana; his granddaughter, Katelynn Garvey and her fiance, Brandon Ehlers of Hanover, Indiana; his grandson, Connor Manis; his great-grandchildren, Maverick and Braxton; his brother, Jerry Bennett of Leesville, Louisiana; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Dean Jones Bennett, died December 29, 2020, his father, Leland Bennett, died December 7, 1989, his mother, Ada Bennett, died February 23, 1994, his brother, Donald Bennett, died January 13, 2007, his sister, Eleanor Scott.
FUNERAL CEREMONY
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, May 21, 2023, at 6:00 p.m., by Pastor Cliff Hartley at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive Madison, Indiana.
VISITATION
Friends may visit Sunday from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive Madison, Indiana.
