Kenneth Walter Brewer

1953 - 2025

Tooele, UT-Kenneth Walter Brewer, aged 72, loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, son, uncle, and friend passed away on December 6, 2025, in Tooele, UT. Born on October 27, 1953 in Pittsburg, CA to Walter and Phyllis Brewer. He married Christine "Tina" Campbell on July 15, 1977 and had two daughters, Kendra Lynn and Jenifer Kay. After owning his own mechanic shop, he broke into the telecommunications industry later retiring from Marriott Corporation. After the passing of his first wife, Tina, he purchased a beautiful 1966 Chevy Nova that he loved entering into shows and won many awards. He also found a love in sound engineering and was the roadie for his second wife, Suzi's, band. He is survived by his loving wife, Suzi Shumway; his mother, Phyllis; his brother, Brad (Marlys) Brewer; his daughters, Kendra (Rich) Youhan and Jenifer Brewer; his stepson, Rya Shumway; his stepdaughter, Kelsey (James) Jex; along with 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Tina; his father, Walter; and his sister, Patti. Ken's love of life was vast. From motorcycling through the Canadian rockies, to a weekend of camping and fishing, life was always an adventure. Ken had a very simple outlook; whatever you're doing, be the best possible person you can be. Live life without regrets. If you were lucky enough to be his friend, he had your back, always. Life was better with Ken in it. He was extremely kind, loving, and thoughtful and will be missed by all. Rally on brother.

Yesterday

Ken and I worked together for a lot of years. He was one of the most reliable people I´ve ever worked with. He was a wonderful man and always talked thoughtfully about his family. He would proudly show us the pictures of Suzy´s doll houses, his purple car and talk about the fun he had setting up for the band. Sending lots of love
