Kenneth H. Bunton, 72, passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at the Hospice Home. He was born in Guilford County on March 4, 1951 to the late Charlie Howard Bunton and Victorine Lee Chrisman Bunton and was the husband of 51 years to Ruby Carolyn Stewart Bunton of the home.
Kenneth was a member of Briggs Memorial Church in McLeansville. He was an avid fisherman and loved the outdoors. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be missed by all who knew and love him.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn; sons, Jeremy Bunton, Travis Bunton and wife Christine; grandchildren, Ayden and Ian Bunton and two sisters, Nancy Seawell and husband Buddy and Tammy B. Adkins. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Archie Floyd Bunton and Ray Douglas Bunton.
A service to celebrate Kenneth’s life will be held at 1:30 on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Donnie Phillips of Buchanan Baptist Church with the burial to follow at Lakeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12-1:15 prior to the service at Lowe Funeral Home and other times at the home.
