Kenneth W. Caffey, son of Earl W. "Dutch" and Ruby (Moore) Caffey, was born June 15, 1940, in Phillipsburg, Missouri, and departed this life, November 12, 2024, at his home in Phillipsburg, Missouri, at the age of eighty-four years.
On June 24, 1961, Kenneth Married the love of his life, Sandy. Together they shared sixty-three years of triumphs and tears, laughter and memories, side by side, while raising their two children, Gary and Vicky.
Kenneth was always known for his hardworking nature. He farmed part time, while working full time manufacturing for Hutchens Industries, for thirty-two years, until his retirement in 1996. He then went to full time farming. He knew the value of his hard work provided for his family and to Kenneth family was everything. He enjoyed many things in life, hunting, fishing, tinkering and working with his tractors, keeping his yard nice, and gardening. Kenneth loved family fish fries and spending time with his family, especially his great grandsons. He loved them dearly and always said "those are my boys"
He is survived by his wife, Sandy; one son, Gary W. Caffey and his wife Julie all of Phillipsburg, Missouri; one daughter Vicky Bowers and her husband Charles; one brother, Laverne "Bud" Caffey, all of Conway, Missouri; four sisters, Bonnie Hendrix of Republic, Missouri, Shirley Ivey and Ruth Daniels, of Lebanon, Missouri, Virginia Sue Shell and her husband Gene, of Marshfield, Missouri; one grandson, Josh Breedlove and his wife Kim; two great-grandsons, Rylan and Beckett Breedlove, all of Conway, Missouri; other relatives and many dear friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and five siblings.
Kenneth was a loving husband, fun loving Poppy, cherished brother, and loyal friend. He will be forever missed.
Memorials have been suggested to Lonesome Hill Cemetery or The First Baptist Church Of Phillipsburg.
