Kenneth "Kenny" Lee Cheatham, 68, of Danville, KY passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2025 at Saint Joseph's Hospital in Lexington, KY. Born on August 28, 1957 in Danville to the late Richard and Flossie Montgomery Cheatham.
Kenny graduated from Boyle County High School. He went on to work for Whirlpool for Corning before his retirement. Kenny loved to attend Boyle County Football games. He was able to attend the first two games of the 2025 season before he was physically unable to attend. He was also a craftsman, his love for woodworking was rivaled only by his love for nature and his pets. He was the proud parent of his dog, "Blanket," and his cat, "Katie." His compassion extended to the local wildlife, where he would feed up to 21 racoons 16 pounds of cat food every two days.
Survivors include his girlfriend, Pam Smith and her daughter Brandy Norwood (Jon); one sister, Linda Martin; and one brother, Larry Cheatham (Lisa); and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Flossie Cheatham.
A one-day service will be held on Friday, October 17, 2025 at Spurlin Funeral Home in Stanford, KY. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Danville, KY.
