Kenneth Conley Obituary

Visit the Moore Funeral and Cremation website to view the full obituary.
Kenneth Alan Conley was born on April 24, 1954, in Clinton, Oklahoma, to Doyle and Fern Conley. He grew up in Clinton, where he built lifelong friendships and graduated from Clinton High School in 1972.

Ken began his career working at the Clinton Newspaper before joining the Clinton Police Department. In 1977, he continued his calling to serve and protect by joining the Oklahoma City Police Department, where he faithfully served until his retirement in 2004. During his distinguished career, he worked in the Springlake Division, became a highly respected bomb technician on the bomb squad, and assisted in response efforts following the Oklahoma City bombing. For his courage during the bombing, he received a National Life Saving Award. Ken also proudly served as a pilot and flight instructor in the Helicopter Unit from 1991 to 2004.

Ken had a lifelong love of aviation and flying planes. After retirement, he moved to Colorado, where he built a cabin and embraced the quiet beauty of the mountains. He enjoyed fishing, exploring mountain trails, and making trips to the casino in Black Hawk. He especially loved attending the PBR in Las Vegas. Later, he returned to Oklahoma and made his home in Tuttle, to be close to family.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents, Doyle and Fern Conley; his daughter, Candy; and his infant brother, Donnie.

He is survived by his loving wife, Debbie Conley, of the home; his children, Brandy Conley of Edmond, Brad Conley and wife Chealsi of Blanchard, and Mark Conley of Norman; his sister, Carol Bailey and husband Monty; and grandchildren, Kinzie, Aubrey, Emery, and Bradley. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will deeply miss him.

Ken will be remembered for his courage, steady strength, love of family, and dedication to serving others. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched and the family he loved so dearly.

We will celebrate Ken's life at 10am on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at Moore Funeral and Cremation.
