Kenneth Eugene Creed, age 81, of Dayton, passed away October 10, 2025. Kenneth was born in Leesburg, Florida on November 26, 1943 to the late William Russell Creed and Naomi Winkle.
Kenneth was preceded in death by parents; wife, Elizabeth Creed; son, Roy Kenneth Hammonds; as well as his brother, Charles Creed.
He is survived by children, Deanne L. (Drew) Claybaugh, Timie (Duane) Wells, Michael Creed, Kimberly (Mark) Rainwater, Amber (D.E.)Lawrence, Kenneth Creed, Jr., Brent Yeazel; daughter-in-law, Dusty Hammonds; nephews, Gunner Lewis and Michael Lewis; great-nephew, Gunner Lewis, Jr.; sister, Sandy Phillips; brother, Ronnie Creed; grandchildren, Terra, Brandy, Andrew, Jessica, Christopher, Amanda, Jessica, Corey, Cassie, Keirsten, Max, Kai and MaKayla ; great-grandchildren, Emma, Nadia, Alex, Cami, Alexis, Alayna. Amiya, Laya, Colton, Jayce, Madison, Christopher, Kimberly, Addison, River and Chase; as well as great-great grandchild, Tatum.
Kenneth retired from Detroit Tire after 40+ years. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, driving his car, watching NASCAR and visiting his family.
Kenneth loved to tell jokes, play cards and make cabbage rolls. He loved spending time with his family and will be deeply missed.
Visitation will be held from 10:00am-12:00pm on Monday, October 13, 2025 at Lighthouse Baptist Church (2040 W 2nd St, Xenia, OH 45385), where funeral services will begin at 12:00pm.
