Kenneth I. Davidson, 86 of Avon Lake, passed away Sunday, April 10, 2022. He was born October 9, 1935 to parents Theron and Mary (nee Bowers) Davidson in Beulah, North Dakota.
Ken was a proud military veteran of the U. S. Army. He was employed by NASA as an aeronautical engineer in Flight Ops with the Space Shuttle Program. He retired from NASA in 1986. He enjoyed traveling, driving, gambling, and found joy in helping family with many projects.
He is survived by his beloved wife Sharon (nee Olson); loving children Bradley Davidson, Janine Wilson, and Krista Gable (Pete); cherished grandfather of Andrew Davidson, Julia Wilson, Sienna Gable and Pierson Gable; dear siblings Lorraine Hazeltine, Ted Davidson (Luella), brother-in-law Delbert Barringer, and sister-in-law Barbara Norton; Uncle and Great Uncle of many.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and siblings Dorothy Moeller (Vin), Marjorie Barringer, Bobby Davidson, Bruce Davidson, and brother-in-law Richard Hazeltine.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be forwarded to Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church Organ Fund 32747 Lake Rd, Avon Lake, OH 44012.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 16, 2022 at 10:00am at Busch Funeral Home 163 Avon Belden Rd., Avon Lake, OH 44012. www.buschcares.com 440.933.3202
