Kenneth Davies Obituary
Dan was born on January 23, 1958, in Victorville, California, to Joanne (née Bolen) Davies and the late Kenneth D. Davies II. He grew up with a strong sense of curiosity, kindness, and dedication-qualities that would define both his career and family life.
He was the loving and devoted husband of Kathleen Davies, and a proud father to Daniel R. (Kelly) Davies and Amanda J. Davies. Dan was a beloved brother to Carole (Brian) DeFrancesco and a cherished uncle to his nieces and nephews, all of whom will remember him for his warmth, humor, and steady presence.
A devoted engineer by profession, Dan was admired not only for his technical skill but for his remarkable ability to bring people together. Whether in the workplace or among family and friends, he fostered connection, collaboration, and mutual respect.
Dan had a deep love for football and treasured the memories of taking his children to professional games, moments filled with excitement and togetherness that became lasting family memories. He especially enjoyed spending his retirement golfing with his mom and buddies.
He also shared a lifelong love of music, enjoying it as a way to connect with those around him. Family road trips were among his greatest joys, and he always made the most of the time spent with those he loved.
Kenneth "Dan" Davies III will be remembered as a devoted husband and father, a skilled engineer, and a man who valued family, friendship, and shared experiences above all else. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate Kenneth's life with a memorial visitation on Friday, January 23, 2026 at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home 8459 Hall Road (3 blks E. of Van Dyke) Utica from 2-7pm.

Dear Kathleen Davies,
Please accept our most heartfelt condolence for your loss of dear Ken.
Our thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time.
May his soul rest in peace, through the mercy of Jesus.
