Kenneth W. Domanchuk: 80 years old of
Antioch, IL passed away Sunday February 18, 2024, at Advocate Condell Medical Center, Libertyville, IL. He was born October 22, 1943, in Chicago, IL the son of the late Walter and Janet (nee Majka) Domanchuk, later settling in
Antioch, IL. Kenneth proudly served in the US Army during the Vietnam War and was a member of the Antioch VFW Post 4551. Before his retirement, Ken owned and operated an antique store; he also produced and sold parts from his company, Midwest Transit as a sales representative for many years. Kenneth had a great love of life and was an avid Chicago Cubs and Green Bay Packers fan. He also enjoyed visiting the casino and playing the lottery. Spending time with his family and friends was most important to him.
Survivors include: three daughters: Laura (Marvin) Gordon of Riverside, IL, Lynda Kruep of
Victor, NY, and Nicola Domanchuk of
Antioch, IL; three grandchildren: Michaela Gordon, Tiffany Kruep, and Brittany Kruep; a great-granddaughter Ava; a brother Dennis (Judy) Domanchuk of Arlington Heights, IL; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and a countless number of friends.
Visitation will be held from 1PM until 4PM Saturday February 24, 2024, at the STRANG FUNERAL HOME OF ANTIOCH 1055 Main St. (Rte. 83)
