Kenneth John Enright

Kenneth (Kenn) John Enright, 40, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, passed away on Thursday March 31, 2022, surrounded by the love of his family after a 2 year battle with cancer. He is survived by his loving parents Kenneth and Kathleen (Morgan); his sister Kelly (Fred Alcaro); his brother Kevin (Heather); his nephews and niece, William (Billy) and Penelope (Penny) Alcaro and Liam and Finnian Enright; and many loving Aunts, Uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents John and Margret (Brennan) Enright and Nathaniel (Bud) and Loretta (Butler) Morgan, and his Uncle John (Jay) Enright. Kenn was a fourth-generation, 16-year veteran of the Philadelphia Fire Department who most recently worked at Engine 18 in Northeast Philadelphia. He also was a 4-year veteran of the United States Air Force. Kenn was a kid at heart, which gave him a unique pathway to share his love of all things Lego, Star Wars, Nintendo, and DC and Marvel Comics, in particular Batman, with his nephews and niece. Kenn was also an avid movie connoisseur, always finding joy in the craft and art of film making. Kenn was a son, brother, uncle, and friend who was very loyal 'til the end. He was and will always be loved unconditionally. The following funeral arrangements will be held on April 12, 2022: A Life Celebration viewing will be held at 0900-1100 at John F. Givnish Funeral Home at 10975 Academy Rd Philadelphia, PA 19154 A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1200 at St. Christopher's Church at 13301 Proctor Rd, Philadelphia, PA 19116. Interment will be immediately following at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, in Newtown, PA 18940.
