Kenneth F. Ferrer

Kenneth Ferrer, age 83, passed away peacefully on January 18, 2026. He was born on November 2, 1942, in Brooklyn, New York, and was raised in New Hyde Park, New York, where he spent his formative years.

Kenneth lived a life defined by service, hard work, and devotion to family. He proudly served in the United States Navy, carrying with him a strong sense of duty and integrity throughout his life. In addition to his military service, he dedicated himself to his community as a volunteer fireman with the Brentwood Fire Department, answering the call to serve when others were in need. Professionally, he worked as an auto mechanic, a trade that reflected his skill, patience, and strong work ethic.

Outside of work and service, Kenneth enjoyed golfing and fishing, pursuits that brought him relaxation and enjoyment. He was a devoted father and family man, known for his quiet strength, resilience, and steady presence.

In his later years, Kenneth resided at the Stony Brook Veterans Home, where he genuinely enjoyed his time and was treated with dignity, compassion, and respect. His family is deeply grateful for the excellent care he received there over the years.

Kenneth was predeceased by his father, Vincent Ferrer, his mother, Regina Ferrer, and his brother, Vincent Ferrer Jr.

He is survived by his four children: Jacqueline (Dan), Kenneth (Monica), Charles (Jennifer), and Joseph (Alicia); his cherished grandchildren, DJ, Amanda, Isabella, Christian, Luca, Jack, and Ella; his beloved great-granddaughter, Octavia; and his siblings, Donald and Barbara.

Kenneth will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.

May he rest in eternal peace, and may perpetual light shine upon him.
