I loved his witty, funny insights. Here are my favorites:
- "If you see the old man slowly back away, back away too."
- "Me engineer, me have crayon, me make picture."
- "Don't finish your job too fast, they will only give you more work."
My sincere condolences to his family.
David Castillo, Costa Rican JBU engineering alumnus, class of 2004.

I am a Walton Student who graduated from JBU in 1992 and having Dr. French as a teacher and as a friend, I would say, was really marvelous.
30 years later I visited with him and Pat on Feb 9th, 2023 when we all have a very pleasant time and left some Costa Rican Coffee for them to enjoy. Never I knew it was the last time. I was until now that I know he passed away. I am sure he is enjoying the Lord´s presence, but we are surely missing down here. My deepest condolences to his wife Pat, family and fiends.

Ken married my sister Ruth in 1966. We enjoyed many visits to Siloam Springs, watching the boys grow up and watching Ken tend to the farm animals. I loved Ken's sense of humor and will miss him. My sympathy to Pat, Jesse, Eric and Brian and I thank God for blessing the world with such a fine, kind man Ken French
