Tracy and Brian, So sorry for your loss! I just found out about Ken passing yesterday when I was visiting with Lois DeLeon. I have always considered Ken one of my closest friends since we wrestled together in college. We saw each other seldom, but things never changed with us. He had that great laugh and smile. I will plant a tree in his honor on my farm this spring. I hope that I can find out when his celebration of life is this spring.

Dear Tracy, Brian & your families. I loved your dad and your mom and I loved babysitting for the two of you when you were really little. Your dad was an amazing man and an amazing coach. Having known your dad since the day you all moved to Osage, I have so many memories! He was an awesome person, teacher & coach. Brad & I had the chance to spend time with your parents when we were grown up, married & having kids. We enjoyed every minute we spent together. Our hearts ache for you. With love & hugs,
Rae Anne (Patterson) Havig

The irony of losing both my high school coaches in the same year is because,as Rae Anne says, so they can go back to the beginning in Osage and begin their careers again. I cherish both Ken Fuchs´ and his assistant coach Ron Betts´ memories. Your family should know also that Ken´s most loyal and caring wrestler from Osage also passed this year. Ken always stated his confidence in my ability to be a champion and It worked out just that way.

Dear Family of Ken, I was a freshman in high school when we had the "sit down" in the school gym protesting that our beloved Coach Fuchs was asked to move on. He kept up with my brother, Tom, and many other wrestlers! He truly was a beloved man, by MANY!

Ken's family
I have fond memories of Ken and his coaching days.
I was the coach at Bondurant Farrar for 32 years until 2002. We had some good matches at State, and Ken became a friend during this time.
I am sorry for your loss, and I have fond memories of Ken.
I remember when Ken was induced into the HOF for the Iowa Chapter of the National HOF.
That was an outstanding group of Coaches that were induced.
