Kenneth David Gonzales

Kenneth David Gonzales, born on August 27, 1947, passed away on September 21, 2024, at the age of 77. Kenneth proudly served in the United States Navy and was stationed on the USS Hyman at Mayport, FL. He worked at DuPont in Reserve for 39 years. He loved the New Orleans Saints, LSU Tigers and spending time with his grandchildren.

 Kenneth is survived by his wife of 47 years, Patricia B Gonzales; daughter, Michelle Firmin (Danny); stepson, Ronnie Garlepied (Kim); stepdaughter, Rhonda Rome (Scott); grandchildren; Ethan Rome, Danny Firmin, Jr., Lauren Plauche, Alex Rome, Rhett Firmin, and Mya Fox; great grandchildren; Parker Plauche, Wes Plauche, Evalee Rome, Tatum Rome, and Lawton Rome; and his brothers, Leonard Gonzales, Donnie Gonzales, and Terry Gonzales. 

 He is preceded in death by his parents, Sidney and Cecile Gonzales; sister, Patsy Englade; brother, Sidney (Sonny) Gonzales, Jr.; and grandson, Anthony Garlepied. 

 Services will be held at The Church International, 13423 LA-431, St Amant, LA, on Thursday, September 26, 2024. Visitation will be from 9:00 am until service at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Serenity Oaks Memorial Park, 15304 Highway 73, Prairieville, LA 70769.
