Kenneth Hogsed Obituary
He was a native and lifelong resident of Clay County and the son of the late Andrew Neal and Mattie Kay Moss Hogsed. Kenneth worked for the N.C. Department of Transportation in Hayesville. He loved music, especially gospel music, singing and playing the guitar. Kenneth attended the Chatuge Hills Church of God.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Tricia Conley Hogsed; two daughters, Michelle Canup and Lucinda Powell (David); one brother, Ronnie Hogsed (Kathy); six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 2 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Chapel of Hayesville. Evangelist Billy Trotter officiated. Burial was in the Union Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers were grandsons.
The family received friends from 12-2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 2 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel of Hayesville.
