Funeral services for Mr. Kenneth Wesley "Kenny" Ivey, age 73, of Fayetteville, TN, will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Kevin Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Prospect Cemetery. Visitation with the family will take place on Saturday from 1:00 PM until the time of service at Higgins Funeral Home.

Born on January 27, 1952, in Lincoln County, TN, Kenny was the son of the late Floyd Kenneth Ivey and the late Mattie Kate Newgent Ivey. He was a 1970 graduate of Flintville High School and continued his education at Motlow State Community College. Mr. Ivey was drafted into the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era.

Early in his career, Kenny worked at Amana, where he met the love of his life, Patsy. Together, they owned and operated Ivey's Produce in Fayetteville for 21 years-a family-run business that became a local staple. Kenny had a deep love for music, particularly the guitar, and even recorded his own song, which will be shared during his service. Kenny passed away peacefully at his home on April 23, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Kenny is survived by his devoted wife of 44 years, Patsy Ables Ivey; step-mother, Sandra Ivey; brothers, Donnie Ray (Rhonda) Ivey and Toby (Sherrie) Ivey; step-brothers, Kenny Childress and Terry (Peggy) Childress; step-sister, Penny (Dwight) Britton; nephew, Chris (Vickie) Ables; cousin, Hilda Capley; great-nephews, Tanner (Jessica) Ables, and Colton (Victoria) Ables; great-niece, Kaitlyn (Tanner Hudson) Ables; and great-great-nephew, Noah Ables.
