Kenneth K. Kaya, of Plainfield, passed away peacefully on June 14, 2025 in Danville. He was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on April 26, 1939 to parents Hajime and Harue Kaya. Survived by his siblings Ruth Walker, Ellen Ura, and Calvin Kaya. Lovingly remembered by his children, Kevin (Joyce), Kerry (Laura), Kathy, Ken Jr. (Shari). Proud Jichan to: Kory, Keana, Kennedy, Kristopher, and Kyra. Great grandfather to Kobe and Josephine.
Kenneth was a mechanic for the Los Angeles County Fire Department for over 20 years, retiring in 1998. He was a loving father and simple man who always looked after his family. He is reunited with his loving companion Chow Chow Yogi-Boo, and his final resting place will be back home in Hawaii.
