KENNETH KEETON Obituary

KENNETH MELVIN KEETON Kenneth Melvin Keeton passed away in Plano, Texas, on Sunday, December 7, 2025. He was born in Ardmore, Oklahoma on December 26, 1943. He was raised by his devoted mother, Ruby Thomas, and her husband, Lowell R. Keeton. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, December 12, 2025, at DeBerry Funeral Directors. Kenneth will be laid to rest at Cedar Lawn Cemetery in Sherman, Texas, following the service. Kenneth served in the United States Air Force, worked at Texas Instruments in Sherman, and later retired as a teacher from McKinney ISD. Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents and son-in-law, Jon Jordan. Kenneth is survived by his wife, Betty Keeton, children Kristi Jordan, Richard Keeton (Katie), grandson Nathan Jordan, brother Russell Keeton (Kathy), brother-in-law Bill Colbert (Karen), and nephews Clifford Colbert, Philip Colbert, James Colbert, and James Keeton. The family is grateful for the caring staff at Cottonwood Nursing Home, and his doctors and nurses at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano.
