It is with great appreciation that I think of Mr. Kesterson. I remember how our family struggled after our father“s sudden passing. Mr. Kesterson came over to our farm repeatedly and helped my brother and us with the work. He never asked for a cent.
In recent years I had the pleasure of taking my Mom to visit him (and his wife, before her passing) when I was up to visit. It was always so enjoyable to sit and talk with him. My Mother greatly enjoyed those visits. I will never forget his humor, his pleasantness, and his kindness. I will sorely miss those visits.
