Kenneth K. Koons Sr

Kenneth Kent Koons went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 14, 2025. He was born June 17, 1956 in Sunbury, PA to Charles E. Koons and Margret Auman Koons. He married the former Karen Eisenhauer Koons on April 28, 2000. They would celebrate their 25th anniversary in 2025. In addition to his wife, he is survived by 3 natural Children; Tehani Koons Stahl and her husband Walter of Northumberland, Kara Koons Herb and her husband Joshua of Shamokin Dam, Kenneth Koons and his wife Kierstin of Watsontown. He has two step sons John Duttinger and his wife Susie of Kyle,Texas and Jordan Duttinger and his gf Gina of Orlando, Florida. He has 10 grandchildren; Corbin Stahl, Caylee Stahl, Alaina Koons, Brooklynn Herb, Penelope Duttinger, Beckett Herb, Julian R, Zander Koons, Ford Koons and Ezra Koons, along with many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by one living sister Gail Koons Mensch of Sunbury, and one living brother Harry Koons of Lebanon.
Kenneth enjoyed buying, collecting and working on cars, especially hot rods and antiques. He loved working outdoors and watching sports. Kenneth played softball for many years on Sunbury teams. He loved hearing the word of God, and watching Christian films as he convalesce. He had a long battle with cancer and fought a good fight. He dearly loved his wife, children, grandchildren and especially our LORD JESUS.
