I remember going to Professor Kury´s course on social entrepreneurship during my freshman year at Saint Joseph´s University. He always had witty stories and great energy - especially considering it was an 8 am Tuesday course.
His passion for ethical business and giving back to one´s community/world highlighted my interest in leadership. He sparked my interest in the study and how to use it for good, leading me to minor in Leadership, Ethics and Organizational Sustainability.

I'm a professor who met Kenny at St. Joe's in Philadelphia. Got to know him and actually spent time with him in his trailer as he went through his ordeal. What an eclectic gentleman... I admired his intellect, his passion for cooking -- especially Mexican food, and his smiling face that always lifted people around him.
I know he appreciated the compassion his family showed during his medical issues... and I actually was planning to stop in before classes begin at sJU this month, when I learned of his passing. We all lost a wonderful person, a great friend, and a Cantina that cannot be replaced. RIP KK. We're all better for having known you./jp
