Kenneth Richard Leake, born April 14, 1972, in Enid, Oklahoma, to Ervin Richard Leake and Christine Christiansen, passed away peacefully in Joplin, Missouri, leaving behind a trail of unforgettable adventures, quiet strength, and immeasurable love. In true Kenneth fashion, even in his final moments, he gave selflessly, saving lives as an organ donor.

Kenneth spent his childhood in Kremlin, on the outskirts of Enid, embracing a world of open spaces and endless possibilities. He attended Spartan School of Aeronautics, where his love for the sky began. Kenneth's spirit was untethered, and he found his passion not only in the air but also on land and water, parachuting, kayaking, off-roading, and exploring the rugged beauty of Colorado and the Ozarks in Arkansas.

A man of simple joys, Kenneth was an outdoorsman through and through. He was most at peace with the wind in his hair, watching the sun dip below the horizon, or behind the wheel of anything that could race across dirt, water, or sky. He had a deep love for camping, boating, and cycling, and could often be found on his motorcycle or off-road vehicles, carving out new adventures on his side-by-side or rock-crawling in his beloved Jeep. His collection of RC cars and planes showed his passion for all things fast and fun.

A master instructor of Powered Parachuting, Kenneth shared his passions with everyone around him. He wasn't just an adventurer; he was a teacher, and someone who found happiness in making others smile. His heart was as big as his appetite for life. He never wanted the spotlight but was always everyone's biggest fan, quietly cheering them on from the sidelines.

For 21 wonderful years, Kenneth was married to his soulmate, Teresa Leake. Together, they raised four incredible children: Rachel Hurt, Anthony Leake, Chance Leake, and Hollie Leake as well as many nieces and nephews. His family was the center of his universe, and he filled their lives with the same joy and excitement he carried within him. He also leaves behind his beloved siblings: Laron Leake (Kelly), Joyce Tow (Gary), and Teresa Helm (Jody), all of whom shared in his zest for life.

Kenneth's legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. His quiet generosity, his love for the simple things, and his boundless enthusiasm for adventure will never be forgotten. He didn't just live life; he embraced it fully and shared that joy with everyone around him. His last act of giving, as an organ donor, epitomized his character; a man who gave of himself until the very end.

Kenneth will be dearly missed, but his spirit will forever ride alongside us, wherever the road may lead.

"Keep the adventure alive, and live like Kenneth"
