Kenneth "Ken" Ray Marsillett, 66 of Prestonsburg, KY departed this world peacefully Sunday, October 1st, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. Ken was a retired dozer operator and loved woodworking, helping others, being outdoors, and most of all his family. He will be deeply missed and remembered by all who loved him. Ken was the son of the late Lenard and Georgia Marsillett of Auxier, KY. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Timothy Marsillett, and Sam Henry Marsillett, as well as one sister Minnie Sue Honeycutt. He is survived by his wife Cynthia Marsillett, her son Danny Greathouse (Bobbie), and four grandchildren (Carson, Millie, Dominic, and Issac). Two sisters, Deborah Johnson (Larry) of Auxier, Ky, and Ethel Honeycutt (Roger) of Prestonsburg, Ky. He is also survived by the mother of his children, Patsy Marsillett, of Prestonsburg, Ky, and their three children: David Joel Clark (Tiffany), Crystal McGaffee (Trae), Bryon Marsillett (April), all of Prestonsburg, Ky. He is also survived by his seven grandchildren whom he dearly loved: Lauren Brooke Davis (Eric), Matthew Davis, LG "Geebo" McGaffee, Jaden Clark (Kayla), Ethan Clark, Balin Clark, and Morgan Marsillett as well as many others who love him.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 3, 2023 from 10am to 2pm at the funeral home
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at 2pm at Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky with Jimmy Brown officiating
Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, Kentucky
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the funeral home for Ken's services.
