Kenneth James Martin, 88, of Wooster, died October 24, 2024, at his home, in Wooster surrounded by his loving family.
Kenneth was born January 25, 1936, in Clarksville, AR to James Clarence Martin and Cecil Anne {Franks} Martin.
He married Paralee Huff on June 25, 1961.
Kenneth was a schoolteacher for many years. He enjoyed playing cards and spending time with family. Kenneth loved animals, going on walks, and reading.
Kenneth will be deeply missed by his wife Paralee; children James DeVon Martin of Wooster and Maralee Martin of Wooster; grandchildren Bradley Boreman and Sarah Doss; 1 great-grandchild; sister-in-law Sandy Martin; and “Adopted Son” Tim Collins.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Clarence “Pepper”, Raymond, Harry, and Reuben Martin, and sisters Daisy Coleman, Viola Mitchell, and Doris Flener.
Friends may call Wednesday October 30 from 1 to 2 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home (and livestreamed at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com/obituaries/Kenneth-Martin) with Pastor Randy Moomaw officiating. Burial will be at Reedsburg Cemetery. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
