Kenneth L. May

Kenneth L. May, age 89 of Canton, passed away on Thursday, October 2, 2025. He was born in Canton on December 22, 1935 to the late Carl and Thelma (Schneider) May. He graduated from Canton Central Catholic High School, where he was in the marching band. Kenneth served in the U.S. Army, and was later a self employed TV repair man. He was a member of St. Paul Catholic Parish in North Canton.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Neva (Maucieri) May; brother Richard May, Sr.; and sister Dorothy Kolher.

Kenneth is survived by his daughter Christine May; grandchildren Jourdan May and Malik Hunley, six great grandchildren; as well as sister-in-law and brother-in-law Amelia "Amy" and John Tucker.

Family and friends will be received at the Rossi Family Funeral Home on Friday, October 10, 2025 from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 10 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Parish. Interment to be in Calvary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Paul Catholic Parish. The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to Bethany Nursing Home, the Baum family and Crossroads Hospice for all the loving care they showed to Kenneth.
