Kenneth Moore Obituary

Kenneth Lee Moore, Aka Kenny Mo, was born at Homer G. Phillips Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, on August 20, 1960. A product of St. Louis public schools, he attended Soldan High School. No one was a stranger to Kenny because of his kind, loving, caring, and giving nature. Once you met Kenneth, He would become your lifelong friend. He loved music, singing, partying, and having a good time while making folks around him have a good time through his comical antics. He was the jokester! Since Kenneth loved music, it was natural for him to love singing, especially when he was growing up in the Maple Courts with his friends Kenny Robinson, Kenny Carter, Kenny B, Terrance Emmanuel, and Craig, who unfortunately preceded him in death. They formed their own singing group too.

Kenneth was the life of the party, for he loved dancing, cooking, and barbecuing. Like his dad, he was an excellent cook, with ham hocks and rice as his favorite dish. In service to his country, he enlisted in the army and the Army National Guard. While in basic training for the military, Kenneth received the sharpshooter award! During his illness, Kenneth recently accepted Christ into his life.

His father, Johnnie L. Moore Sr., precedes him in death, as well as his sister, Angela Thompson, and two brothers, Keith and Reginald Moore. He leaves to cherish his memory his mother Eula Moore, his son Kenneth L. Moore Jr., five grandchildren, three sisters Tammy (Robert), Cosandra (Mike), Samantha and brother Johnnie L. Moore Jr. Kenneth's spirit lives on in 15 nieces and nephews, 37 great nieces and nephews, one great great newphew, one aunt Peggy Gomillia, and best friends Aubry Tutwiler and Kenny Robinson. May the cherished memories remain alive in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved him.
