On behalf of the Moose/Jones family, I would like to thank you all for your thoughts, well wishes, and prayers. I am sure he would be very humbled about all this fuss over him. Ken played a role in each of our livesa husband, father, grandfather, brother, friend, leader of faith, and a servant to God, and it is through these roles that he was able to touch our lives so deeply. I know that his quick wit and sly sarcasm will be missed by everyone. So, with that being said Dad, I guess Ill take over the duty of just standing around waiting for the rapture...
Again, thank you all, and God Bless!

Dear, sweet Loma. We are saddened to hear about Ken and send our love to you. We will remember you two- always smiling, laughing, giving each other a loving "hard time". Mr. Ken always had a little twinkle in his eye when he looked at you. I'm sure that you and Ken were the first two we met at Lanes Chapel on Bullard Road so many years ago- and you two were examples of what good stewards should be. We pray for peace and comfort for you and your family.

Loma -my deepest sympathies. You were always a special part of Ken . His love for you was unsurpassed.
Ken always lifted me up when I was down. His humor was wonderful and always helped to make me see the sky even when the dark clouds obscured the sun. He was a special man with a direct line to God.
There is an emptiness inside me yet I can almost feel that his spirit is still here for his friends and family and always will be. He even won Jerry over a long time ago with his cartoons of the BBQGrill and Jerry grieves for this great loss too.
Ken (and Loma) and I were the moose and panda, from 2 different worlds who touched each other with a friendship that surpassed all expectations for .cyberfriends.
There is no friendship quite as rare as that of the moose & the panda bear.
Love you,

Deepest sympathies and condolences - Sharon Terry-Doom and family

I remember Kenneth from many years ago. He came to live with his grandfather and grandmother, Joe and Emma Jones in our little community of Blackjack, Texas. Brother Jones was our pastor for many years. Kenneth came to be a part of our group at school and at church. We loved him and called him simply "Moose". There were several of the "Obar" cousins and he was friends with all of us. I think he was a sophomore in school when he first came. He was fun and funny and I am saddened to learn of his passing. On behalf of the Obar cousins, I would love to say we are glad he was a part of our life for that short period of time so long ago. Joy Obar McGarrahan

Mr. Moose is a fixture in my memories of growing up in church at Lanes Chapel. He was always such a nice and good man and I appreciate the example he set. Prayers for Loma and your family going forward.

Ken and Loma have always been so special to my husband Fred and me. This just breaks our hearts that our world no longer has Kens wisdom, wit, and loving heart in it. His love for Jesus and Loma and their Floppy Horn Ranch was evident in everything. Our prayers for sweet Loma and their families for comfort and the peace that comes from a relationship with Jesus that Ken exemplified every day. We sure are going to miss our hilariously funny and sweet Ken until we are in Heaven with him.

Jesus held the gate open
When He called you Home
Then took you directly
To see God on His throne
They were waiting and watching
For the time to be right
And now you're forever
Within their sight
A lot of us on earth
Expect no fuss
(But could you stand close to the gate
and wait for us?)
See you soon

To a very special (brother, friend) cousin. Kenneth, you just went ahead, but before too much longer, I will join you. In our early years, we had some great times at the Jones house.
