Kenneth Overstreet

Kenneth Overstreet, age 75, passed away Friday, March 8, 2024, at his home.  He was born on June 16, 1948, to his parents Andrew Jackson Overstreet and Lexie Rowe Overstreet.  He was the husband of Gail Wright Overstreet, a coal miner and member of the First Church of God for over 40 years.  He was a member of the Thomas C. Cecil Masonic Lodge, the El Hasa Shriner Temple, Ashland, Ky, FOP GW Young Lodge, Pike County Shriners Club and the Hillbilly Clan 2-Outhouse 1.  
    Along with his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by one sister Clara Overstreet, five brothers, Bobby Jack Overstreet, Sammy Overstreet, Charlie Overstreet, Danny Ray Overstreet and William Blake Overstreet.  
   Along with his wife, Kenneth is survived by one daughter Tammie Overstreet O'Daniel, two sons, Mark Kevin (Tammy) Overstreet and Billy (Yuki) Overstreet, one brother Stevie Michael Overstreet, seven grandchildren, Ellianna Overstreet, Joseph O'Daniel, Evelynne Overstreet, Logan Overstreet, Kenneth Overstreet, Lauren (Chad) Malone, Brittany Fessler, five great grandchildren, Juliette, Qurenidy, Hudson, Kynnli, Witten and a host of loving family and friends.
   Visitation will be Monday at 6 p.m., Masonic Service at 6:30 p.m., and church services at 7:00 p.m. at Lucas and Son Funeral Home. Tuesday at the First Church of God, Elkhorn City with church services at 7:00 p.m.  The funeral will be Wednesday March 13, 2024, at 11:00 am, at the First Church of God, Elkhorn City with Scottie Adkins officiating.
