Ken was born on Jan. 29, 1956, in Ironwood, Michigan, a son of Stanley and Ellen (Brenden) Pellinen. He attended Luther L. Wright High School in Ironwood and graduated in 1974.
Ken proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1974 to 1976, aboard the USS Valdez.
Following his honorable discharge, he returned home and earned an Associate degree from Gogebic Community College in 1979.
Ken worked at AccuRay in Green Bay and Burton Industries in Ironwood. He retired in 2015.
Ken was an avid Green Bay Packer fan and an accomplished musician who played in many bands in his younger days.
Ken is survived by two brothers, Dave (Nancy), Ann Arbor, Michigan, and Paul (Joanne), Daleville, Indiana; a sister, Karen (Brian) Miljevich, Wakefield, Michigan; nieces and nephews, Rebecca (Tom) Koivisto, Saxon, Brian (Jessica) Miljevich, Wakefield, Falisha (Daron) Lewis, Muncie, Indiana, Brandon (Joy) Pellinen, Chesterfield, Indiana, Damian Evilsizor, Ann Arbor, and Erik Evilsizor, Phoenix, Arizona; and great-nieces and great-nephews, Allison and Julia Howey, Hazel and Eleanor Lewis, Lincoln Fisher and Roland Dorroh.
He was preceded in death by his parents; numerous relatives and friends, including his best friend and Packer partner, Jan Stahl, exactly one year ago.
There will be no funeral service.
Ken will be laid to rest in the Veterans section at Riverside Cemetery in Ironwood.
