Kenneth Neil Pickron

Funeral services for Kenneth Neil Pickron, 51, of the Swartz Community, will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe with Rev. Lindell Stewart officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe. Mr. Pickron was born on September 1, 1959 in Monroe, LA and passed away on April 30, 2011 in Monroe, LA. Kenneth was an avid hunter and fisherman and was a member of the Baygent Branch Hunting Club. He was a member of the New Light Baptist Church in Monroe. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charlie and Earline Miller and his parents, Jessie Pickron and Frances Pickron Duke. Mr. Pickron is survived by 2 sons, Brian M. Pickron and Kenneth N. Pickron, Jr.; 2 stepsons, Brandon and T. J. Tolbird; 5 sisters, Katherine Conley, Cynthia Ceney, Glenda Black and husband, Ron, Brenda Brown, and Debra Garrett; brother, Roger Pickron and special nephew, I-Ty; and numerous extended family members and friends. Pallbearers will be, Joe Young, Sr., Joe Young, Jr., David Trichell, Brian Pickron, Timmy Miller, and Rayford W. Miller, Jr. Honorary pallbearers are his son, uncle, and nephews. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe.
