Funeral services for Mr. Kenneth Don Pilgreen, 70, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, January 9, 2026, at Parkview Baptist Church in Monroe, with Rev. Terry Barnes officiating, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd., Monroe. Interment will follow at Holly Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery in Holly Ridge, LA. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 8, 2025, at Parkview Baptist Church.

Mr. Pilgreen was born on August 19, 1955, in Holly Ridge, LA, and passed away on January 3, 2026, in Monroe, LA. He learned how to be an entrepreneur from his father working at the feed and seed store. At a young age he worked for and achieved Eagle Scout. Mr. Pilgreen earned a Geology Degree from Nicholls State University. He was the CEO and Founder of several successful companies in the Oil and Gas Industry, where he worked side by side with his sister Sue Jones his entire life. Mr. Pilgreen was a member of Parkview Baptist Church, where he served as Deacon and Sunday School Teacher. He enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting and fishing. His most important thing in life outside serving the Lord were his three boys. The highlight of every year was taking his boys to Colorado during the summer. He adored all of his grandchildren and loved being a Grandpa.

Mr. Pilgreen was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Asa Hunt, and sister, Janelle Smith.

Survivors include his siblings, Annette Hunt, Sue Jones, and Manning Michael Pilgreen; children, Austin Pilgreen and wife Sara, Blake Pilgreen and wife Kelly, and Casey Pilgreen; grandchildren, Samuel, Joshua, Evangeline, Lottie, Jimmy, Emma-Lee, Siena and Fox; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Austin Pilgreen, Blake Pilgreen, Casey Pilgreen, Samuel Pilgreen, Will Jones, and Foster Jones.
