BARRE- Kenneth Wayne Powers Jr. ,64, of Barre passed away on October15, 2025 in Barre. He was the son of Kenneth Wayne and Lilla (Nolan) Powers Sr.
Uncle Ken loved to be outside doing yard work or going for a ride. I would also see him sitting in the sun all the time. He loved animals and his favorites were dogs and cats because they would show affection back to him. He wasn’t just my uncle he was also my friend. My mother and I loved him very much. When he left, he took a piece of us. Although he was an acquired taste, we loved him all the same.
He is survived by his little sister Kathy Powers and her daughter (his niece) Samantha Kidder). A great-niece Lydia Kidder. He is also survived by his mother Lilla Cisch.
There will be a memorial service on November 8, 2025 at 2pm at the Worcester Mountain Cemetery. He will be laid to rest with his younger brother, grandmother and father.
