Kenneth Ray Prough, "Kenny" the son of Everett Leroy and Patricia Ann "Pat" (Goble) Prough passed away December 21, 2024 at his home in Republic, MO surrounded by his loving family.
He was born October 15, 1955 in Nevada, MO and lived his younger years on a dairy farm near Walker, MO. He graduated in 1973 from Walker High School.
Kenny was a handyman by trade with a vast knowledge of every type of construction. He was also very passionate and talented with woodworking, building and creating anything one could dream up. Most importantly, Kenny was a kind and sweet soul who loved "his" people deeply and had a passion for life and adventure. He was always full of light and love and was never without a huge smile on his face that would brighten up any room.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harvey and Rose (Anderson) Prough and Margie (Hutsler) Goble and his sisters Carol Ann Prough and Kathy Jean (Prough) Richardson.
He is survived by his parents and younger sister, Karen Doolin of Seymour, TN; his life partner, Diana Shores of Springfield, MO and her son, Jeff (Rachelle) Redding; niece, Teri Jo (Anthony) Maxwell; nephews, Adam Richardson and Curtis (Kassandra) Richardson; great niece Kinsley Jean Richardson all of Knoxville, TN; his Aunt, Norma Jean Thomas of Schell City; and many beloved cousins and friends.
