Kenneth Quarfoth Obituary
Ken proudly served in the army reserve during the Korean war. Ken graduated from the University of Minnesota on June 15, 1957 with a major degree in geology and a minor in math. Ken and Marilyn were married on June 28, 1957. Ken started working as a geologist with Texas Petroleum Company (Texaco) in Venezuela, South America on July 8, 1957. His career took Ken and Marilyn all over the world; Venezuela, Lafayette and New Orleans, Nigeria, Legos-Warri West Africa, Rumbai Indonesia, Croyden England, Dhahran Saudi Arabia, and Jakarta Indonesia. A wonderful career and great adventure for Ken and Marilyn. Ken also loved golfing, stamp collecting, and their many cats over the years. More than anything, he loved his beautiful wife, Marilyn.
Ken is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Marilyn. Also, many nieces, nephews, and other relatives who loved him dearly.
