Kenneth Quivers

Kenneth V. Quivers, 94, of Chambersburg, PA, passed Wednesday morning, February 22, 2023 at the Chambersburg Hospital. Born March 28, 1928 in Chambersburg, he was the son of the late Charles Quivers and Grace Ann Starks Quivers. Ken served honorably with the US Army and retired from St. John's United Church of Christ in Chambersburg where he had been employed as the custodian for 38 years. He attended Bethel Assembly of God in Chambersburg and enjoyed studying the Bible. Ken was a good friend and neighbor and was loved by everyone who knew him. He was a wonderful father and human being. He liked Big Band music, westerns, and was an avid Penn State football fan. His wife, Demaris Miller Quivers preceded him in death on November 7, 1986.
He is survived by his daughter, Katrina Quivers and three grandsons, Craig Quivers, Kenneth Quivers, and Reginal Webb, Jr. In addition to his wife he was preceded in death by three daughters, Frances Quivers, Kendra Dee Quivers, and Lazetta Ann Quivers.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, February 27, 2023 at Bethel Assembly of God, 400 Miller Street, Chambersburg, PA. Rev. Garry Kipe will officiate. Interment will follow at Lebanon Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
