Kenneth Earl Railey

Kenneth Earl Railey, age 73, of LaGrange, passed away on December 21, 2025. He was born on June 5, 1952, to the late Raymond Railey and Jean Spates in LaGrange, Georgia.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Annette Thompson; nephew, Alan Railey; and niece, Jan Thompson.

He proudly served in the United States Army and retired after 20+ years of service. The military was more than a career to Kenneth-it was a lifelong passion. He held great respect for fellow service members and veterans and took pride in the traditions and history of the armed forces. Even in retirement, his appreciation for the military never faded, and he remained grateful for the opportunity to serve.

Survivors include his siblings, Sandra Wilkinson, Gary Railey (Vanessa), and Kim Thrower (Tony); nieces Michelle Lee (Chuck) and Chasity Harrison; many great nieces and nephews; extended family and friends.

The family will have a graveside service beginning at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 29, 2025, at the Meadoway Gardens Cemetery. The family will gather at the gravesite prior to the service. Flowers are accepted, or donations can be made to the Defending America's Defenders, 563 Pyne Rd, LaGrange, GA, 30240 United States, a non-profit organization dedicated to honoring and supporting homeless and at-risk veterans in LaGrange.
