Kenneth A. Roeseler, 95, peacefully passed away on Saturday August 23, 2025 at Rainbow Hospice in Johnson Creek.

Kenneth August Roeseler was born on July 9, 1930, in Hartford, WI, to August and Isabelle (Lehman) Roeseler. He was baptized on August 10, 1930, and confirmed on June 20, 1943, at St. Michael's Lutheran Church, Hustisford, WI.

At age 15, Ken got his license and started driving truck in the fields. Ken proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from July 14, 1948 until July 13, 1952, achieving the rank of Corporal. Ken went back to trucking after the Marine Corp hauling milk for Dairyland. He later worked at Heavy Duty. For the next 6 plus years, he delivered for UPS. In 1965 Ken began hauling fuel for Rock River Co-op and spent the remainder of his working career there. Ken was proud that he held a valid driver's license for 80 years.

On December 5th, 1953 Kenneth was united in marriage to Lorraine "Lou" Kersten at St. John's Lutheran Church, Watertown WI. They met at his sister Carole's wedding and enjoyed over 71 years of marriage. They were blessed with three children, Keith, Dean, and Sharon. The family spent many summer afternoons water skiing on Rock Lake in Lake Mills. Ken and Lou enjoyed many cruises with their friends over the years.

Ken had a passion for riding his motorcycle and Honda scooter, logging over 17,000 miles in and around neighboring cities. While stationed as an MP in Olongapo and Subic Bay in the Philippines, he once shot a python measuring 10 feet, 6 inches in length. Ken walked his beloved Shih Tzu, Smokey, nearly every day for 15 years. Ken was also a proud member of American Legion Post 189. He had a passion for food and is known for his grilling skills including whole turkeys on the Weber kettle grill. Most days ended with an ice cream treat.

Kenneth is survived by wife, Lorraine Roeseler; children, Keith (Karen) Roeseler of Blanchardville, Dean Roeseler of Watertown, and Sharon Roeseler of Downers Grove, IL; sister, Carole Christian and her children Pam, Todd, Bruce (Pam), and Kim (Marvin); as well as other relatives and friends.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, August and Isabelle Roeseler, and his brother-in-law Gilmer Christian.
