Kenneth Dean Rose, 85, of Polksville, Kentucky passed away Saturday, November 8, 2025 at his home. He was born on August 22, 1940, in Hazard, Kentucky, to the late Luster and Martha Lewis Rose.

Kenneth was a veteran of the United States Army. He dedicated much of his life to his various business ventures. He owned and operated Rose's Carpet World in Berea and later he took on the role of a salesperson at Furniture World. After relocating to Bath County, Kenneth and his wife embarked on a new journey by opening a Craft Store and Hair Salon. He had a deep love for music and enjoyed sharing his gift with those around him. Throughout his life, he found joy in playing music and traveled to experience the world, creating cherished memories along the way.

He was predeceased by his cherished wife, Joyce Ann Goodpaster Rose, who passed away on August 31, 2024, and his step-son, Michael Goodpaster, two sisters, Faye Wells and Pat Rogers.

Kenneth is survived by his son, Robert Rose (Constance) of Shepherdsville, Kentucky, one step-son, Christopher Vezina, two brothers, Paul Rose of Dayton, Ohio and Harold Rose of Corbin, Kentucky. Kenneth took immense pride in being a grandfather to three grandchildren, Ashley Rose (Allan Barch), Lindsey Tarkington (Shaun), and Nathan Rose (Jessica), as well as four great-grandchildren.
