In Loving Memory of Kenneth Rowe Kenneth Rowe, 82, of Palm Coast, FL passed away peacefully on August 15, 2025. He was born in Durham, England on September 25, 1942 to James and Maud (nee Hall) Rowe. A beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and dear friend to many across the world, Ken leaves behind a wide circle of family and friends across England, Norway, Australia, New Zealand, Canada (Nova Scotia and Newfoundland), and the United States. His friendships stretched far and wide - from New England to California, from Seattle to Palm Coast - and all those who knew him were touched by his dry wit, generous heart, and quiet strength. Ken lived a life defined by dedication to family, service to community, and a love of travel. He served as Mayor of Peterlee, England for a year, a role that reflected his deep commitment to those around him. But perhaps his greatest joy was the journey he took beyond his hometown - a journey that led him to people and places across the globe. Ken met his wife Anne - a native of Norway - through mutual friends in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. At the time, Anne was helping establish a research administration office at King Faisal Hospital and Research Center, and Ken was working for Aramco. From that serendipitous meeting grew a partnership that would take them to all corners of the world. Together, they traveled to England, Norway, Australia, and New Zealand to visit family; to Egypt and Spain for the sights and sunshine; and on cruises to Alaska, the Bahamas, and Bermuda. There were also cherished trips to Hawaii and frequent visits to Massachusetts and neighboring states. Ken especially loved to travel, collecting memories along the way - from skiing in Norway for the first time to the quieter times enjoying nature's beauty while walking, biking or fishing. When illness finally kept him closer to home in Palm Coast, Florida, his spirit of adventure remained, sustained by stories, photos, and the love of those around him. One of seven siblings - four boys and three girls - Ken was a family man through and through. Though his health declined in recent months, his love for those around him never waned. In his final days, he was surrounded by love, comfort, and gratitude. He will be deeply missed by his siblings: sisters Jean, June and Denise, as well as brother Trevor and their extended families. Ken is survived by his devoted wife Anne; his sons Stephan (with wife Yana) and Stuart (with partner Yvonne); his cherished grandchildren Adam, Luke, and Ellie; and great-grandchildren Sebastian, Jack, Freddy. He is also survived by his stepson Garo Stone-Der Hagopian, wife Amanda, and their children Flora and Magnus. He is predeceased by his parents, and brothers Jimmy and Colin. His favorite hymn was "Amazing Grace," a fitting tribute to the grace with which he lived his life and faced its end. Ken Rowe will be remembered with deep love, laughter, and lasting respect. His legacy spans continents, but lives most fully in the hearts of those who knew him best. Heritage Funeral and Cremation of
