Kenneth Sandefur Obituary
Born November 23, 1964, in Columbus, he was the son of Kenneth "Kenny" Logan Sandefur and the late Dolly Ann (Ruark) Sandefur.
Kenneth was a 1984 graduate of Jennings County High School and was owner and operator of Sandefur Trucking for 30 plus years. He enjoyed tinkering on stuff, hunting, motorcycles, horses, and attending horse pulls.
Survivors include his son, Joshua (Jessica) Sandefur of Seymour; daughter, Rachel (Joe) Benbow of North Vernon; father, Kenneth Sandefur of North Vernon; companion, Lynn Hulse of North Vernon; brothers, Ivory John (Rebecca) Sandefur and Russell Scott (Carol) Sandefur, both of North Vernon; and grandchildren, Michael Sandefur and Bellatrix Sandefur, both of Seymour, and Olivia Benbow, Jessa Benbow, Dolly Benbow, and Liam Benbow, all of North Vernon.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
A funeral service for Kenneth will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon with the Rev. Don Morris officiating. The visitation for family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 16, 2023, at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Saturday. The Burial will follow in the Vernon Cemetery in Vernon.
Memorials in honor of Kenneth may be made through the funeral home to the Peyton Manning Children's Hospital.
