Kenneth “Chunky” Sena a loving father, brother and friend passed away peacefully on
January 10, 2026 at the age of 60. Chunky a lifetime resident of Albuquerque, NM was
known for his big heart and his passion for sports. A proud fan of the New Mexico Lobos
and the Los Angeles Dodgers he never missed a chance to cheer on his teams, sharing
his joy with everyone around him.
Beyond being a loyal sports fan, Chunky loved playing baseball and pool, hobbies that
brought him joy and many memories throughout his entire life. Weather on the field, or
watching sports on TV Chunkys competitive spirit and laughter made every moment
memorable.
Chunky is survived by his four children: daughters Mary and Nicole, and sons Michael
and Matthew. He was a proud grandfather to two granddaughters and one grandson
who brought joy to his life. Chunky also leaves behind his sisters Alice and husband
Gary, Deborah and husband Leo, and his brother Steven and wife Carol, and many
nieces and nephews who will forever cherish his memory.
Chunkys life was enriched by the love of his longtime girlfriend Vanessa and her
extended family who became an important part of his world.
He is proceeded in death by his parents Rufilo and Mary Sena, brother Anthony and
sisters Bernadette, Jeanette, Sandra and Diane.
His laughter, love and kindness will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Services will be hold on February 26, 2026 at St. Therese Church at 10:00 am.
Kenneth has taken his place in the big leagues of heaven, where the games never
end and the cheers echo forever. Play on Kenneth you will always be our MVP.
