Kenneth W. Simpson

Glenda and family-
I am sorry for your loss. Mr. Simpson was my teacher mentor at Tabor. He taught me how to cherish my students. We had wonderful educational philosophical conversations in which I enjoyed questioning his reasoning. I then had the pleasure of working with him for several years. He touched my heart. -Diana Young

Mr. Simpson was such a fun and supportive teacher. I had him in 6th grade at Westside and he was also our PE teacher. He taught all of us how to square dance. Some great memories. He will be greatly missed.

I worked with Ken at Tabor and he was a wonderful teacher and great person. I truly enjoyed working with him. He be missed.

I worked with Ken at Tabor many moons ago - what a privilege to have known him - would have been at visitation today but just now found out about his passing - goodness - not good news - we need more Ken Simpsons in the world - that is for sure - I send my thoughts and prayers to his family - what a great guy all around - his smile and humor made work so much fun - rest well my old buddy !!!

So sad to hear of the passing of Mr. Simpson. He was my 5th grade teacher at Westside elementary. Mr. Simpson made a lasting impression on me, not only then, but throughout my life. To this day I remember doing a project on the presidential election of 1972 and another project of my choosing. I chose to do my report on the Ali / Frazier fight in Jamaica. Which after discussion and some coaxing from Mr. Simpson turned into a research and reporting of the country of Jamaica. He took something I was interested in and made it an educational experience. As I got older and went on to WRJH and WRHS I lost touch with Mr. Simpson but I still kept up with him every chance I could. I saw what great things he did for LL baseball and his support for NHS. To this day I don´t remember many of my past teachers and no one else from my elementary school days. But I do remember Mr Simpson and the impression he left on me. God speed Mr. Simpson. RIP

I am so very sorry for your loss! Ken was a wonderful mentor to me during my years at Tabor/ Thomson. He will be fondly remembered by so many for his contributions to education in Houston County. Sending prayers for comfort.

Glenda and family I am so sorry to hear of Ken´s passing . He will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Ken and I grew up together and he was a special person. My prayers for you and the family. He is in the arms of God. Rest in peace my friend.

Ken was a good man and an awesome teacher, he taught Amy for her first 2 years in middle school at Tabor Middle.
Joel felt as if the Simpson family was his second family. Thank you loving my kids. God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

The best teacher ever!!! We were so blessed to have him as a teacher for two years in elementary school, and later he became my friend as an adult. My heart is breaking. Glenda we will be praying for all of you. God bless you.
