Kenneth Sitkowski

Kenneth Anthony Sitkowski of Macomb, formerly of Hamtramck, passed away on October 18, 2023, at 76 years old.
He was a hard-working employee at American Axle and General Motors for many years. When he wasn't in his garage tinkering on engines, making a wish list of tools to add to his vast collection, or starting projects on the house (sometimes finishing them), you could find him in his basement watching a Tigers game or the Lions surrounded by every Budweiser collectable known to man with a cold one in his hand. He was always ready to talk muscle cars and would school you on the information you thought you knew about them. Quick with a sarcastic comment or a dirty joke, there was rarely a moment Kenny wasn't making you laugh or smile. You knew you were part of the family when he would don his signature white t-shirt and whitey-tighties in front of you without a care. Though he was a man of few words, you always knew that you were welcome in his home and loved for who you were no matter what.
Kenny was the cherished father of Donna (Todd) Ames, Kelly (Victor) Schroeder, and Tom (Sandra) Mette. Proud grandfather to Marquise (Nick) Mascaro, Benjamin Ames, Autumn Ames, and Stephen Clor. Dear great-grandfather to Cecilia, Easton, and Nolan. Loving brother to Reginald (Patricia) Shires, and Claudia (late Jay) Maddock.
Preceded in death by his loving wife, Christine, and his dear parents Michael and Tess.
