Even after all this time, there are moments where the wish to have my dad here makes me ache. Milestones and crises and just plain good news - he is not here to share it or to lean on. Never more than recently on the birth of my granddaughter, his great granddaughter. I know he would have cried tears of joy and that little girl would have been SO cherished and spoiled. The only thing that keeps the gray from going black is knowing that one day I will see him again. I imagine my Lord saying, “Welcome home my good and faithful servant. Your dad is sitting in a beach chair by the ocean in front of your beach house. He saved you a chair and as many bear hugs as you wish”.

Peggy and family,
I am sorry to read the passing of Kenneth. You and your family are in my prayers during this difficult time. You all were such a good family and our lives haven't crossed for a long time.

In case you have forgotten who I am, you lived 2 doors down from the Hager's in West End Manor. Howard, Sarah, and Robert.

God bless you all.
